SLED - State, Local and Education Account Executive

Position Summary:

TTEQlease Capital has an immediate opening for an experienced SLED Equipment Finance Account Executive to join our sales team. TEQlease is an innovative financing company with a strong cross-section of markets and businesses served. We encourage independent thinkers who thrive on winning in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should possess five (5) years of sales finance experience.

What makes you a great salesperson? This is a sales role requiring strong communication and relationship building skills that requires the capacity and capability to manage and develop an account base of equipment vendors, municipalities, federal agencies and/or schools in an assigned geographic area. You should have experience is selling through various VAR/Channel distribution facilities.

This is a full time, remote, salaried position with commission and bonus-based earnings with strong income potential at target achievements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Utilize deep domain municipal and federal expertise to proactively prospect, establish and develop equipment vendors and end-user relationships
  • Responsible for client expansion and retention in assigned territory including accountability for strategic and complex relationships
  • Analyze credit risk, compliance, underwriter options and cash flows
  • Effectively articulate TEQlease's value proposition through meetings, presentations, product campaigns and conferences
  • Collaborate with target customers to gather information on needs and strategies to deliver the appropriate financial solutions
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members regarding business initiatives and territory opportunities
  • Contribute to special projects and assignments as requested by senior management
  • A transferable book of business is a plus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor and/or Master's degree preferred
  • Five (5) years sales, financial leasing experience
  • Strong understanding of municipal and federal markets
  • High client service orientation, with advance structuring capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player, with exceptional people skills
  • Travel as required to support territory needs
  • Manage to and comply with CRM responsibilities
  • Ability to manage consistent inbound and outbound calling
